Susan Baldassi
Creative Educator
Sensei Susan is a 7th-degree black belt in Isshinryu Karate, educator, and international instructor who leads by example - continuing to train and compete while setting high expectations in inclusive, supportive learning environments.

Inducted into the International Isshinryu Hall of Fame in 2023 as the first Canadian female, Susan blends ancient martial arts wisdom with modern teaching to support personal growth, leadership, and meaningful development - in the dojo, in the classroom, and beyond.
MY APPROACH
Susan creates inclusive learning spaces where people feel supported, challenged, and capable. Recognized internationally, she continues to train and compete while teaching across Canada and abroad, leading by example with curiosity, commitment, and a genuine love of learning. Through engaging, hands-on work in education, martial arts, wellbeing, and self-regulation, she supports growth that people can apply in everyday life.
